About
I’m a 23-year-old photographer based in Santa Cruz, California, originally from the rolling hills of Vermont. My work is rooted in a deep appreciation for natural light, minimal setups, and the kind of visual storytelling that captures life as it really unfolds—unpolished, intimate, and honest. I carry a camera with me everywhere, whether I’m hiking along a coastal trail or exploring backroads with no set destination. I’m drawn to older gear and vintage lenses for the subtle imperfections and unique character they bring to an image. Even when I shoot digitally, I aim for a textured, film-like quality that feels grounded and timeless. My portfolio includes a broad range of subjects—concerts, landscapes, portraits, and street scenes—but my focus is always the same: capturing organic, in-between moments. I look for emotion in the everyday, stories in the quiet glances or passing gestures that might otherwise go unnoticed. I prefer natural light and shoot with tighter apertures to bring everything into sharp, democratic focus—inviting the viewer to see the full context, not just the subject. Whether I’m documenting a live show, a foggy morning on the coast, or a candid street portrait, my goal is to make work that feels real—images that hold space for nostalgia, spontaneity, and connection. I’m always open to new collaborations and projects that align with that vision.
